Science questions

In Science today we had a few questions that you can answer for extra credit:

1) What is the difference between a mole and a vole (or is there one?)?

2) What does the vacuole of a cell do?

3) What does the mitochondria do?

4) What does the cell membrane do?

5) What does the cell wall do?

6) What is cytoplasm?

Any other words and definitions you can find relating to plant and/or animal cells, please add it for extra credit!

  6. Ananda -- I'm so sorry to hear about your knee. I hope it feels better! Tomorrow, the turtle group will be doing pick-me-up. I haven't heard anything about the dance class doing a dance at pick-me-up, but maybe it will be a last minute thing. Hope to see you tomorrow!!!
