  3. Trinity -- to multiply fractions, you do the following:

    1) turn any mixed numbers into improper fractions
    2) cross simplify (if you want)
    3) multiply straight across -- numerator x numerator and denominator x denominator
    4) If it is improper, turn it back into a mixed number
    5) simplify

If you still have questions, give me a problem you'd like me to show how to do and I"ll post it on here okay?

  9. Hey Khaila -- To divide fractions, do the following:

    1) Turn any mixed numbers into improper fractions
    2) Keep the first fraction the same, change divide to multiply, and flip the second fraction
    3) Cross-simplify (if you want)
    4) Multiply straight across
    5) Turn the improper fraction (if it is one) into a mixed number
    6) Simplify

If you aren't sure you have it correct or not, I put the first two answers on the post before this one. Let me know if you are still confused and I can do a problem on here for you!
